Kids

helping kids know god

Children are the future. More than a catchy saying, it’s a reality. Therefore, we have worked hard to provide an interactive place where kids can get to know God. We love to partner with parents to instill spiritual principles that strengthen and sustain the next generation. So that these kids realize that they aren’t just the future, but that they are the present.

456 Fall Events

(4th-6th Grade Ministry)

  • Nursery

    (Infant - 2.5 Years)

Our nursery is a place for babies and toddlers to learn who God is through the love, care, and prayer they receive from our volunteers. Nursery programming is available for the entire service.

  • Preschool

    (2.5 Years - Kindergarten)

Our preschool program is made up of two classes, the 2’s &3’s and Prek-Kindergarten. Both classes are a place where children can have fun, play games, and build relationships with each other. Our leaders help children explore who God is and learn about His great love for us. Preschool programming is available for the entire service.

  • Elementary

    (1st - 6th Grade)

Our elementary program is comprised of two classes, the 1st-3rd grade and 4th-6th grade. Both classes provide a space where kids can have fun, make friends, and feel a sense of belonging. Kids will start by singing in the main service with their families. After singing together, their teachers will help dismiss them to their classes. Our leaders aim to help kids know God and gain an excitement to make Him known to others.

  • Buddies

    (Special Needs Ministry)

Our buddy program matches trained volunteers with children who have special needs. Our desire is that they may experience God’s love while parents are able to attend service knowing that their children are being well taken care of. Our buddies will work alongside trained professionals as well as the family to provide a safe and fun time at Birch St Kids. If possible, we would like all children to engage in every aspect of their appropriate class. However, if a child’s situation is such that they would not benefit from the traditional classroom setting, they may attend the Buddy Classroom. The Buddy Classroom allows each child to engage at their ability level.

We want to have a buddy ready for your child. So please let us know you are coming and a little bit of information about your child by emailing Kim Lopez, our Birch St Kids Director.

Child Dedications

At Birch St, child dedications are a big deal for us. We see it as an expression of a parent’s desire to have their church family partner with them in raising Godly children. We want to support you as you walk in that massive calling. As a church, we consider it an honor that you would want us to be a part of this incredible privilege.
